The hotel is located adjacent to the central station. The area has been cleaned up exceptionally well and is now a trendy district in which to live with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The location makes it convenient to most of Copenhagen's major attractions including Tivoli gardens, the shopping street; Stoget, cinemas, restaurants and the direct airport train link at central station.
The rooms are traditional in design, with carpeted floors, light floral textiles and well kept light wooden furniture. All rooms are medium in size and offer very clean accommodation with good en-suite facilities. There are tea and coffee facilities in all rooms.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor,and is a large open planned space adjacent to the lobby and near to the entrance, offering a bright and enjoyable environment to enjoy breakfast.
The hotel exterior is a traditional white stone building with narrow rectangular and arched windows. The lobby is medium sized and decorated in light pastel colours and contains a life size replica statue of the Little Mermaid. There is also wireless internet access in the lobby.
Overall this family owned and run hotel offers good value for money, a modern interior in a traditional building and an excellent friendly service all within a central location.
