The hotel is located opposite Tivoli garden, next to the town hall and close to the main shopping area. The central station is just five minutes away. Recognized as the most centrally located property in Copenhagen.
The large rooms are in an average condition and furnished in classic style with warm bright colour schemes and dark wood. The bathrooms are also in a good condition. Please note all renovated rooms are non-smoking.
The brasserie on the square offers an international cuisine.
It is a beautiful and grand historic building, a landmark in the city. The medium sized lobby is elegantly decorated with dark wood and marble. There is a small seating area to the back left, a bar to the front left and the restaurant up some steps to the right. (looking out on to the town hall square).
The hotel offers a superb location overlooking the city square making it ideal for a weekend leisure break. Overall the hotel still retains an average standard, although it is worth noting that the hotel is undergoing a major renovation until October 2007. In order to create the least impact, the hotel have chosen to renovated in vertical sections totally closed to public access. Please note internet is currently only available as dial-up so a modem is required in your computer.
